Hendrickson in Kentucky is seeking an experienced engineer to oversee welding and fabrication processes for suspension components, ensuring manufacturability, cost efficiency, and product quality across production lines.

You will lead projects from design through implementation, evaluate procedures, develop welding specifications, manage equipment procurement, and drive process improvements while maintaining safety and quality standards in a manufacturing environment.

Qualificações

• BS in Engineering required. Preferably in welding engineering.
• Metallurgical/material science experience preferred.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in manufacturing facility preferred.
• Experience in welding procedure specification development preferred.
• Experience with process development and A.P.Q.P. required.
• Experience in justification and procurement of capital equipment is required.
• Experience with NX or AutoCAD preferred.
• Experience in tooling/fixturing design preferred.
• D.& T and ISO/QS9000 experience preferred.
• Knowledge of D.F.M. practices preferred.
• Hands on experience with weld fabrication process to include robotic welding.

Job Description Oversees and maintains production process and products for welding of suspension components for the facility.

Essential Functions

• Manage current production projects and support production & engineering with future product launches.
• Evaluate current product process and provide input regarding manufacturability and cost.
• Evaluate existing product designs/processes and make improvements regarding cost and quality.

Education and Training

BS in Engineering required. Preferably in welding engineering. Mechanical Engineer with adequate welding system experience shall be considered.
