Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Welding Pipefitting Technician in Blair, Nebraska to perform welding and piping tasks in a maintenance environment. You will layout, fabricate, install valves and piping, and inspect welds to ensure quality in a safety-focused team.

The role requires ability to read drawings, work with isometric diagrams, and follow industry codes. Expect multi-tasking on tanks, vessels, and piping systems with 4 ten-hour shifts.

Qualifications

• Possess a high school diploma or GED; AA welding degree preferred.
• Certification required for Industrial Pipe Fitting/Welding.
• 0-2+ years in Industrial Pipe Fitting, Pipe Welding and Repairs; certification required.

Responsibilities

• Repair and preventive maintenance on tanks, vessels, piping systems.
• Layout and fabrication of piping systems; install valves.
• Follow safety guidelines; ensure compliance with company procedures.
• Operate and weld in various positions; inspect welds and cut materials.
• Read blueprints and interpret isometric diagrams; plan welding operations.
