Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Warehouse Worker to support our operations through heavy equipment assembly, troubleshooting, welding, and general warehouse duties. The ideal candidate will have hands-on mechanical ability, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Responsibilities
- Assemble and disassemble heavy equipment and machinery according to specifications.
- Perform troubleshooting and basic repairs on mechanical components.
- Use welding equipment to fabricate, repair, or modify parts as needed.
- Read and interpret blueprints, assembly instructions, and technical manuals.
- Operate forklifts, hoists, and other material-handling equipment safely.
- Assist with loading, unloading, and organizing equipment and parts in the warehouse.
- Perform regular inspections of equipment and tools to ensure safe operation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and accurately.
- Follow all company safety protocols and procedures.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training.
- 2+ years of experience in equipment assembly, mechanical work, or welding.
- Basic knowledge of troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical documentation.
- Experience with MIG/TIG or stick welding strongly preferred.
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and move up to 75 lbs. regularly.
- Comfortable working in a warehouse environment, including standing, bending, and handling heavy materials.
- Ability to safely use power tools, welding equipment, and other machinery.
