Qualifications

• Ability to pass ColonialWebb weld test.
• Capacity to work from drawings and specifications.
• Positive attitude in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Select type and size of pipe and related materials.
• Cut and thread pipe using appropriate tools.
• Assemble and install various pipe and fittings.
• Perform welding using various techniques.
• Test piping systems for leaks.

Skills

Knowledge of BOCA and OSHA safety regulations

Knowledge of welding rods and fluxes

AWS 6G certification capability

Strong communication skills

Ability to work independently
