Job summary

The welding department at USU Blanding seeks a Laboratory Assistant to support the welding education certificate and degree programs on the Blanding campus. The role involves fabricating projects for shop improvements, maintaining and repairing program equipment, and keeping the lab clean and organized.

Overview

The welding department at USU Blanding is seeking a laboratory assistant. The successful candidate for this position will become a working member of the welding education certificate and degree programs located at the USU Blanding campus in Blanding, Utah.

Primary responsibilities will include fabrication of projects for shop improvements, basic maintenance and repair of program equipment, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the lab facility. Duties will also include participating in recruiting events hosted and participated in by the welding program.
