Qualifications

• 5 years of full-time welding experience and AWS certifications are required.
• Pass FBI/BCI background check and obtain appropriate CTE teaching license under ODE requirements.
• Knowledge of welding processes including SMAW, GMAW, GTAW and FCAW.

Responsibilities

• Instruct students in welding theory and practice to align with Ohio standards.
• Promote safety in lab with OSHA standards and maintain equipment.
• Set up and operate welding equipment; maintain lab spaces.
• Prepare students for Industry Recognized Credentials; supervise in and out-of-class activities.
