Kern Community College District is soliciting applications for part-time, hourly adjunct instructors. The starting salary range is $60.00/hour; hourly rate may vary based on type of assignment and the Lecture Hour Equivalent (LHE) formula. For more information, refer to the CCA collective bargaining agreement or your college HR office.
This pool will be used to staff part-time adjunct positions for the 2021-2022 academic years. The successful candidate will be expected to provide a full range of counseling services and/or instruction in student development courses. Assignments may include day or evening classes, weekends, large classes, distance learning, and multiple teaching methodologies.
Additionally, candidates must demonstrate sensitivity to and understanding of diverse student backgrounds. Degrees and credits must be from accredited institutions; foreign degrees must be evaluated by a recognized evaluation service.
