South Piedmont Community College invites applications for a part-time Welding Instructor position in Monroe, NC. The instructor develops and delivers welding courses, assesses student outcomes, and maintains current course materials.
Responsibilities include teaching, curriculum development, staying current with industry practices, and participating in program assessment and budgeting processes. Courses may be scheduled in person or online, days, evenings, or weekends across college locations.
The Welding Instructor is a part‑time position located primarily on the Tyson Family Center for Technology Campus in Monroe, NC. Under the direction of the Director of Advanced Manufacturing, the Welding Instructor assumes responsibility for course development, instruction, and course assessment for assigned welding courses.
