Job summary

Kelvion is seeking a Welding School Instructor in Catoosa, OK to design and deliver comprehensive welding training for new hires, apprentices, and experienced welders across multiple facilities.

The role focuses on MIG, TIG, Stick, and FCAW techniques, with curriculum development aligned to industry standards. You will evaluate trainees, enforce safety protocols, and support AWS/ASME certification efforts to uphold Kelvion’s standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Welding certification or technical degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver welding training programs for new hires, apprentices, and experienced welders across multiple facilities.
• Instruct on MIG, TIG, Stick, and FCAW welding techniques.
• Develop curriculum and training materials aligned with industry standards and certification requirements.
• Evaluate trainee performance through practical assessments and written exams and provide feedback.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and promote best practices in welding operations.
• Maintain welding equipment and training facilities for a safe learning environment.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations to align training with production needs and quality standards.
• Support certification processes such as AWS, ASME, or company-specific qualifications.
