Role Description The Welding Inspector is responsible for monitoring and evaluating welding processes and welded components to ensure they meet established quality and safety standards. Day-to-day activities include performing visual and dimensional inspections, reviewing weld procedures and documentation, and verifying compliance with applicable codes, specifications, and customer requirements. The role involves collaborating with welders and production teams to address nonconformities, recommending corrective actions, and supporting continuous improvement in welding practices. The Welding Inspector documents inspection results, maintains accurate records, and participates in quality audits and root cause analyses as needed. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Columbus, NE.
