Job summary

Charter College is seeking a Program Manager for Welding and HVAC to lead two high‑demand trades programs with a focus on curriculum quality, faculty development and employer alignment. The role requires credible industry experience and the ability to drive outcomes for students in a remote setting with time zone alignment to PST or MST.

The position emphasizes accreditation compliance, program reviews, and collaboration with academic staff and external partners to expand externships, practicum

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required per accreditation standards.
• Meaningful experience in the trades industry (Welding, HVAC or related).
• Ability to lead, coach, or develop employees, instructors, or trainees.
• Strong communication with industry professionals and academic stakeholders.
• Familiarity with accreditation expectations in career/vocational education.
• Located in PST or MST time zone or willing to work there.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations, curriculum delivery and academic quality for Welding and HVAC programs.
• Serve as primary point of contact for faculty, students and industry partners.
• Monitor student outcomes, retention and graduation rates; drive improvements.
• Lead curriculum development and ensure accreditation compliance.
