Job summary

Alliance Industrial Solutions in Youngstown, OH is hiring a Welder Fitter to assemble and fit steel structures. This on-site role offers 7:00 AM–3:30 PM or 3:30 PM–11:00 PM shifts with ASAP start.

You will read blueprints, lay out parts, tack-weld, and ensure precise fabrication in a teamwork-focused environment. Required is a high school diploma and welding or fitting experience; MIG welding on steel is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of welding or fitting experience preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and follow detailed specifications.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
• Lay out parts using measuring tools.
• Tack-weld components and construct jigs and outlines.
• Position, shape, and fit parts with files, chisels, and grinders.
• Heat-bend and shape materials.
• Verify assemblies with measuring tools.
• Follow safety and quality guidelines.
• Complete finishing tasks like annealing and brazing.
