AMADA AMERICA, INC. seeks a MIG Welder and Fabricator to weld thick steel plates using pulse welding and to fabricate parts per blueprints. This role uses an overhead crane, sit-down and stand-up forklifts, and may operate a shot blast machine for paint prep.
The position requires reading blueprints, performing weld machine setup, and meeting AWS D1.1:2020 Welder Test standards. Safety PPE must be worn at all times.
The MIG Welder and Fabricator will weld together thick steel plates by way of pulse welding and also fabricate steel parts to meet the design specs according to the blueprints. This position will also utilize the overhead crane along with the sit down and stand-up forklift. There will be times when operation of the shot blast machine is required for paint prep.

PHYSICAL: Ability to successfully lift up to 50 pounds unassisted, constant standing, walking, kneeling, bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, reaching outward and above the head, climbing, gripping, pinching and hand to eye coordination are all required as daily functions for this role. Work is performed on cement flooring.
TEMPERATURE: Climate-controlled yearly (Heat and air conditioning)
