Job summary

Supreme Manufacturing LLC is seeking a Welder/Fabricator for our shop. The role involves learning and applying MIG, TIG, Stick, and Flux-Core welding while interpreting blueprints and welding symbols.

You will set up equipment, weld in various positions, and inspect outcomes to meet specifications. The position emphasizes safety, teamwork, and documentation of time spent on jobs with proper codes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of related welding experience preferred; associate degree or additional training acceptable.
• Must complete 3G limited weld test and pass.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and weld symbols.
• Strong attention to detail, teamwork, and basic math skills.
• Forklift and overhead crane operation capability required.

Responsibilities

• Learn and apply MIG, TIG, Stick, and Flux-Core welding techniques.
• Study blueprints, sketches, and specifications.
• Maintain proper PPE and safety protocols.
• Set up welding equipment and materials.
• Weld components in flat, vertical, and overhead positions.
• Inspect welds for defects and ensure conformity to specs.
• Maintain equipment and manage time on jobs efficiently.
• Assist in assembling/disassembling metal structures.
• Document welding time with correct job and cost codes.
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions.
