Job summary

Interstate Assembly Systems in Marshfield, Wisconsin is seeking experienced Welders and/or Fabricators to join our fabrication and assembly team. The role involves welding carbon steel or aluminum components, grinding, and possibly wiring, following prints and specifications.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform physical work.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and interpret prints and drawings.
• Must be punctual and reliable.
• Willing and able to learn new skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform wire-feed carbon steel horizontal welding; some vertical welds.
• Move and handle steel or aluminum onto fixtures and jigs.
• Fabricate according to drawings; seek clarification as needed.
• Adhere to administrative policies including time logging and recordkeeping.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
