Job summary

MasterTech, based in Salt Lake City, UT, is seeking Welder/Fabricators to weld, fabricate, and fit custom components for mining equipment in a shop setting. The role requires reading blueprints, skilled MIG/TIG/STICK welding, and familiarity with torch and plasma cutting.

The position offers a 6am start, weekdays schedule, and overtime after 40 hours. Candidates should own a full set of welding and fit-up tools and have 3+ years of experience in the field.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of welding, fabrication, and fitting experience.
• Experience with Mig, Tig, and stick welding.
• Experience with torch and plasma cutting.
• Proficient at reading and interpreting drawings and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Weld, fabricate and fit custom components and attachments to mining equipment per blueprints and drawings.
• Maintain quality standards and safety procedures during fabrication and welding tasks.
