Qualifications

• Qualified under AWS D1.1 Structural Steel Code or equivalent for SMAW in multiple positions.
• Ability to read drawings, lay out work, and measure components accurately.
• Must work safely around machinery and in varying temperature/humidity conditions.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints, take or read measurements to layout components.
• Set up components for welding per requirements.
• Weld components using SMAW processes with quality and safety in mind.
• Maintain conformity to safety rules and regulations.
• Operate grinders, torches, plasma cutters, and related tools.
