NOOTER is looking for an experienced Welding Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate would have 3+ years of experience in planning and developing welding functions by selecting welding processes and materials to be used. Additionally, this individual would qualify and issue welding procedures and would be formally responsible for providing input into policies associated with the job's purpose and essential responsibilities.

Primary Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To
  • Conduct regular inspections of construction projects to audit work in progress or completed work for compliance with customer and Code requirements, including safety audits.
  • Assemble the necessary WPS's and PQR's for a weld package on each NOOTER project as required by ASME, AWS, and customer requirements.
  • Provide welding cost impacts for proposals.
  • Review and approve purchased welding material certificates for compliance with AWS, Corporate, and project requirements.
  • Select project-specific non-destructive test requirements to comply with customer, Corporate, and code of construction requirements.
