Job summary

RRC Solutions Group in Ohio is seeking a Welding Engineer to develop, optimize, and support welding processes in a vehicle manufacturing environment. You will partner with Engineering, Production, and Quality to ensure weld quality and support new product launches.

Responsibilities include developing MIG, TIG, and resistance welding, defining welding parameters and standards, investigating defects with root cause analysis, aligning with AWS, ISO, and IATF 16949, conducting weld audits, and

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Welding, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
Minimum 3 years in welding engineering or weld process development in a manufacturing setting.
AWS welding certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Develop and optimize MIG, TIG, and resistance welding processes.
Define and maintain welding parameters, procedures, and standards.
Investigate defects with root cause analysis and corrective actions.
Ensure compliance with AWS, ISO, and IATF 16949 industry standards.
Conduct weld audits, support PFMEAs and control plans.
Apply Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma to reduce waste, cycle time, and consumable costs.
