Job summary

RRC Solutions Group is seeking a Welding Engineer for a client that manufactures temperature sensors, precision components, and cable/harness assemblies. The role provides technical ownership of welding processes and partners with design, manufacturing, and quality teams to improve weld integrity and productivity.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience developing and troubleshooting welding processes in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of welding metallurgy, engineering drawings, weld symbols, inspection methods, and process documentation.
• Ability to analyze technical problems and communicate clear corrective actions with production teams.

Responsibilities

• Own welding processes and procedures for precision components.
• Develop repeatable joining methods and fixtures to ensure weld integrity.
• Evaluate materials, joint designs, heat input, distortion, and weldability for reliable production.
• Support qualification activities and maintain technical records per customer/industry requirements.
• Investigate defects and drive root-cause analysis with manufacturing and quality teams.
• Plan welding trials and transfer new products to production.
