Bolzoni North America is seeking a Welding Engineer for a full-time, on-site role based in Sulligent, AL. You will develop and optimize welding processes for lift truck attachments and related products, support laser and arc welding operations, and drive continuous improvements in efficiency, durability, and cost-effectiveness.

You will collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality control teams to ensure adherence to specifications, safety standards, and documentation, while training

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Welding Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field.
• Experience in metal fabrication or material handling equipment.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and welding symbols.
• Familiarity with welding standards (AWS or ISO) and QC procedures.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
• Effective on-site communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Responsabilités

• Develop, optimize welding processes for lift truck attachments, forks, and related products.
• Oversee welding procedures and welding inspections to ensure compliance with standards.
• Collaborate with production teams to ensure quality, safety and cost efficiency.
• Introduce new welding technologies and maintain proper documentation.
• Train team members and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist root-cause analysis for weld-related nonconformities.
