Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Welding Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment focusing on welding processes and metallurgy.
• AWS Certified Welding Engineer (CWEng) or equivalent certification.
• Proficient in welding processes (GMAW, GTAW, FCAW, SMAW) and their application to different materials.
• Strong understanding of welding codes, standards and specifications (AWS D1.1, ASME Section IX).
• Experience with non-destructive testing (NDT) methods and interpretation.
