CareerNerds, LLC is seeking a Welding Engineer to develop, optimize, and support welding processes in a vehicle manufacturing environment. You will partner with Engineering, Production, and Quality teams to ensure weld quality and drive continuous improvement.

The role requires hands-on experience with MIG/TIG/resistance welding, procedure development, defect analysis, and compliance with AWS, ISO, and IATF 16949 standards. Pre-employment drug testing may be required.

Qualificações

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Welding, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years in welding engineering or weld process development within a manufacturing setting; AWS certification preferred.
• Technical skills: Familiarity with GD&T, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and MS Office; strong understanding of weld procedure development and defect analysis.

Welding Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize MIG, TIG, and resistance welding processes.

• Define and maintain welding parameters, procedures, and standards.

• Investigate welding defects, leading root cause analysis and corrective actions.
