Job summary

SourcePro Search, LLC is seeking a Welding Engineer to develop, optimize, and support welding processes in a vehicle manufacturing environment. You will partner with Engineering, Production, and Quality to ensure weld quality, drive continuous improvement, and support new product launches.

The role focuses on MIG, TIG, and resistance welding, maintaining procedures, and ensuring compliance with AWS, ISO, and IATF 16949 standards. Strong problem-solving and Lean/Six Sigma experience are valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Welding, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years in welding engineering or weld process development in a manufacturing setting.
• AWS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize MIG, TIG, and resistance welding processes.

• Define and maintain welding parameters, procedures, and standards.

Qualifications

• Technical Skills: Familiarity with GD&T, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and MS Office. Strong understanding of weld procedure development and defect analysis.

Physical Requirements & Conditions

• Lift up to 40 lbs with assistance and perform frequent standing, walking, and bending.

• Successfully complete pre-employment drug and alcohol testing.
