Job summary

Modern Machining Solutions Inc. is seeking a Welding Engineer to develop, optimize, and support welding processes in a vehicle manufacturing environment.

You will partner with Engineering, Production, and Quality teams to ensure weld quality, drive continuous improvement, and support new product launches. Responsibilities include optimizing MIG/TIG and resistance welding, defining welding parameters, investigating defects with root cause analysis, and ensuring compliance with AWS/ISO/IATF 16949

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Welding, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years in welding engineering or weld process development within a manufacturing setting; AWS certification preferred.
• AWS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Technical Skills: Familiarity with GD&T, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and MS Office. Strong understanding of weld procedure development and defect analysis.

Physical Requirements & Conditions

• Lift up to 40 lbs with assistance and perform frequent standing, walking, and bending.

• Successfully complete pre-employment drug and alcohol testing.
