Job summary

Workforce Recruiter is seeking a Welding Engineer to develop, optimize, and support welding processes in a vehicle manufacturing environment. You will partner with Engineering, Production, and Quality teams to ensure weld quality and support new product launches.

The role requires hands-on process development (MIG, TIG, resistance welding), rigorous parameter control, defect analysis, and adherence to AWS, ISO, and IATF 16949 standards; you will lead audits, PPAPs, PFMEAs, and drive Lean/Six

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Welding, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years in welding engineering or weld process development within manufacturing; AWS certification preferred.
• GD&T familiarity.
• AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and MS Office proficiency.
• Strong weld procedure development and defect analysis skills.

Qualifications

Physical Requirements & Conditions

• Lift up to 40 lbs with assistance and perform frequent standing, walking, and bending.

• Successfully complete pre-employment drug and alcohol testing.
