Job summary

Codeware is seeking a full-time Welding Engineer with development experience to join our Sarasota-based Software Development Team. This position focuses on further developing our Shopfloor product.

The successful candidate will contribute to code development, refactoring, performance profiling, and collaboration on related projects within a collaborative environment at Codeware in Sarasota, FL.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Welding Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 3 years programming experience including design, writing, testing, debugging and documentation.
• Experience in Welding and Welding Codes & Standards.
• Experience with Javascript/Node.js and/or Python.
• Experience with database programming.
• Familiar with common design patterns.
• Skilled at reading and comprehending established source code.
• Experience with Git/GitHub and Redmine is a plus.
