The Welding Engineer will ensure safety, quality, and efficiency in the welding process. This position will be the company's authority on welding-related quality issues.
Responsibilities:
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Welding Engineering or other similar technical discipline, or an equivalent of demonstrated Career-Related Experience. In-depth knowledge of GMAW welding process, metallurgy, and welding codes (AWS D1.1, AWS D14.3). Experience with robotic welding systems including specification/implementation, on-line and off-line programming. Relevant American Welding Society certifications, e.g., Certified Welding Inspector (CWI), Certified Welding Engineer (CWEng) or the ability to obtain soon after employment.
