The Lindgren Group is seeking a skilled Maintenance / Rack & Tool Maker (Fabricator) for Avtec Finishing in New Hope, MN. This role blends metal fabrication with industrial maintenance to build and repair racks and tooling for our metal-finishing processes.

Applicants must hold an AWS welding certification and be prepared to demonstrate welding skills on site. You will measure, cut, bend, fit, and weld to precise specs while supporting the maintenance team.

Competenze

• AWS welding certification is required.
• Hands-on experience cutting, bending, fitting, and fabricating metal.
• Ability to read and follow drawings, measurements, and maintenance documentation.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

Mansioni

• Fabricate, modify, and repair racks, fixtures, and tooling used in production.
• Cut, bend, shape, fit, and weld metal to create racks and tooling for specific parts and processes.
• Determine construction approach based on production needs and drawings.
• Accurately measure, fit, and fabricate components to required dimensions.
• Repair damaged racks and tooling and perform preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Safely use welding, fabrication, and shop equipment and maintain clean work areas.
