Job summary

The Lindgren Group, including Nico Products, is seeking a Maintenance / Rack & Tool Maker (Fabricator) in Minneapolis, MN. The role combines metal fabrication with industrial maintenance to build and repair racks and tooling for finishing processes.

Starting wage ranges from $27.00 to $35.00 per hour, with OT, attendance rewards, profit sharing, and a signing bonus for eligible hires. This is a direct-hire, full-time position with safety and quality at the forefront.

Qualifications

• Current AWS welding certification is required.
• Demonstrated welding ability and willingness to onsite demonstration.
• Hands-on experience cutting, bending, fitting, and fabricating metal.
• Ability to fabricate racks, fixtures, tooling, or similar metal components.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate, modify, and repair racks, fixtures, and tooling used in production.
• Cut, bend, shape, fit, and weld metal to create racks and tooling.
• Measure and fabricate components to required dimensions.
• Repair damaged racks and tooling when practical.
• Safely use welding, fabrication and hand tools; document maintenance work.
