Location:

Chicago, IL (RDA) - Welding equipment rental

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

Reporting directly to the District Manager, North Central, the incumbent is responsible for growing the rental, lease and sales of Red D Arc Specialty Products, including sub-arc systems, positioners, manipulators, turning rolls, orbital and heat treating equipment, blasting products, and related welding equipment in our North Region. The role involves following up on sales leads, making professional presentations, preparing quotes, producing conceptual Hard Automation application drawings, and expanding current sales channels. The candidate will coach and assist customers in self-performing heat treating and orbital welding, working directly with end users and supporting the field sales team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication, business, and leadership skills, with a proven track record of success.

Essential Functions
  1. Maintains a safe working environment by following health and safety guidelines.
  2. Develops and increases customer bases through effective communication and needs assessment.
  3. Expands Weld Automation sales channels and develops new ones such as growing lines, cladding systems, and automation work cell integration.
  4. Makes application recommendations for Weld Automation product lines.
  5. Develops customer relationships to enable self-performance in orbital welding and heat treating.
  6. Trains sales teams and specialists to understand capabilities and grow sales.
  7. Coordinates onsite setup and demonstrations of equipment.
  8. Works collaboratively to provide customer solutions and exceptional service.
  9. Represents the company at trade shows and meetings.
  10. Generates leads through cold-calling and maintains accurate reports.
  11. Performs other duties as required.

Are you a MATCH?
Education
  • Post-secondary education equivalent to an Associate's degree in Engineering or related field preferred.
Experience
  • Over five years of sales experience in Weld Process Sales.
  • Strong background in welding processes, especially automation and SAW.
  • Preferences for additional certifications like CWI, CWE, CRAW, CWS, NCCER instructor, etc.
