Job summary

Modine Manufacturing Company in Wisconsin is seeking a welding assembler to support the assembly line, performing welding and general assembly for HVAC-related equipment. You will work closely with the Lead Welder to meet quality and production standards.

Requirements include lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for several hours, reading blueprints, and adhering to safety policies. The job offers health benefits and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift 50 lbs without assistance.
• Ability to stand for a minimum of 2-3 hours.
• Ability to reach over shoulders/head.
• Ability to bend at waist and knees.
• Ability to twist at shoulders/waist.
• Familiar with tools.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and weld commercial and industrial assemblies/fabrications related to HVAC units and supporting equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine part orientation, weld symbols, dimensions, and layout.
• Ensure precise fit up, layout, and weld quality to meet print requirements and company standards.
• Work with Lead Welder or Supervisor to meet procedures, schedules and quality expectations.
• Maintain a safe and organized work area following safety policies and PPE requirements.
• Inspect welds for accuracy and quality and perform adjustments or repairs as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
