Qualifications

• Basic computer literacy; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Tack weld body frames and rings.
• Weld body frames, rings, and feet.
• Stack rotor laminations onto arbors and weld laminations.
• Read blueprints and follow job specs precisely.
• Approve and reject raw materials with respect to quality standards.
• Measure output and verify dimensions and functionality.
• Inspect production processes to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

WELDER

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Tack weld body frames and rings
• Weld body frame, rings, and feet.
• Stack rotor laminations onto arbors and weld lams
• Blueprint reading and following job specs
• Approve and reject raw materials with respect to quality standards and record supplier performance.
• Select output and check them using appropriate methods and measuring dimensions, testing functionality, comparing to specifications etc.
• Inspect procedures of the entire productions cycle to ensure they are efficient and comply with safety standards.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Ability to follow established procedures for safety, quality and general assembly.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; Higher degree from a technical school is a plus.
• Certified welder - MIG, TIG, wire feed, aluminum and steel, preferred
• Demonstrated proficiency in time and project management.
• Basic computer literacy, preferred
• Effective communication skills, written and verbal communications skills.
• Ability to understand the physical and mechanical properties of metal as affected by composition
• Mechanical working and heat treatments including metal cutting and grinding is desirable.
• Ability to coach and lead others with respect, dignity, strong communication skills written-verbal.

Schedule

• Friday-Sunday, 12 hour shifts, 5am - 5pm, Overtime work available
• Monday - Thursday, 5am-3pm / 3pm-1am
