Qualifications

• Strong instructional techniques and student-centered approach.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; basic computer proficiency (LMS, email, Office).
• NCCER Core or OSHA certification preferred or obtained within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Teach credit and/or non-credit welding courses with emphasis on technique and code-level quality.
• Instruct and enforce safe use of welding equipment; maintain lab in safe, organized condition.
• Develop and post syllabi aligned to master syllabi and deliver clear policies; provide timely feedback.
• Inspect weld quality and prepare students for AWS or industry tests.
• Mentor students on course progress, retention, and job pathways; refer at-risk students to counseling.
