Aims Community College is seeking a part-time Welding Instructor to teach a range of welding and cutting processes and oversee lab safety. You will evaluate student work, assist in equipment maintenance, and participate in program development and professional growth.

Minimum qualifications include extensive welding expertise and the ability to pass weld tests. The role supports instructional excellence and alignment with the college’s mission and values.

Qualifications

• Possess expertise in welding and cutting processes (OAW, OFC, PAC, SMAW, GMAW, FCAW, GTAW).
• Applicants may need to demonstrate welding ability and pass tests.
• Multiple WEL course/experience requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction on welding and cutting processes to students.
• Supervise lab safety and proper use of equipment.
• Evaluate student work and assign grades.
• Assist in maintaining welding program equipment and facilities.
