Job summary

Accelevation is seeking a Trainer for the Accelevation School of Welding to lead welding education across Ohio and Mississippi. You will own program performance, standardize curricula, and ensure trainees reach production-ready levels while maintaining safety and quality.

You will mentor instructors, partner with Operations, and drive curriculum improvements to meet evolving manufacturing needs. This role involves travel and supporting multiple shifts in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in welding, manufacturing, or skilled trades leadership.
• Ability to design, deliver, and improve training programs.
• Strong leadership and coaching skills.

Responsibilities

• Own the direction and quality of the Welding School across Ohio and Mississippi.
• Ensure training output aligns with workforce planning and production demand.
• Refine welding curriculum to reflect real-world manufacturing needs.
• Define and enforce welding competency standards and certifications.
• Coach and mentor welding instructors across multiple locations.
• Translate shop-floor needs into training priorities with Operations leadership.
• Track program completion, weld quality, and production readiness metrics.
• Drive continuous improvement in curriculum and instructional methods.
• Support training across multiple shifts as needed.
• Foster safety, quality, accountability, and craftsmanship in training.
