Job summary

HPC-Industrial, powered by Clean Harbors, seeks a Certified Welder for our La Porte, TX area. You will perform welding, fabrication and maintenance on specialized assets, following blueprints and quality standards. The role requires experience with SMAW, GMAW, FCAW and GTAW processes.

Schedule is Mon-Fri, 2 PM–10:30 PM with weekends/OT as needed; highly safety-conscious team with competitive hourly pay and benefits after 30 days. Travel, training and growth opportunities are included.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma + specialized training or 1 year college.
• 5–7 years welding experience.
• Fabrication skills (cutting, grinding, etc.) essential.
• GMAW, SMAW, FCAW, GTAW certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Welds and repairs certified related welding for specialized assets.
• Maintains and repairs welding equipment.
• Reads drawings, blueprints and work orders; follows directions.
• Gouging and cutting using mechanical and air/plasma tools.
• Inspects parts for defects and ensures quality control.

HPC-Industrial , powered by Clean Harbors is looking for a Certified Welder to join their safety conscious swing shift team! This opportunity is based out of the La Porte, TX area. This team member will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of all certified related welding for specialized assets along with maintaining company equipment.

WORK SCHEDULE: MONDAY - FRIDAY 2 PM - 10:30 PM (Must be available to work weekends and OT as needed)

• Welding materials together using SMAW (shielded metal arc welding), GMAW (gas metal arc welding), FCAW (flux-cored arc welding) & GTAW (gas tungsten arc welding)
• Basic fitting experience/knowledge
• Knowledge of raw materials and understands MTR’s and electrode classifications.
• Gouging processes (air carbon arc, plasma arc, oxy-fuel)
• Cutting processes (mechanical and power tools, oxy-fuel plasma arc, air carbon arc, electric arc)
• Cleaning and checking for defects and shape component parts.
• Performing quality control
• Following directions given in drawings, blueprints, and work orders
