Job summary

Express Employment Professionals is hiring entry-level to intermediate MIG welders for a University Park manufacturing company. The role involves MIG welding on 12-gauge steel, fixturing, and operating fabrication machinery. Training is provided for recent welding school graduates seeking hands-on experience.

Shifts are available across 1st, 2nd, and 3rd with hourly pay of $19–$20. Prior welding experience or welding education is required or accepted in lieu of experience.

Qualifications

Express Employment Professionals is currently working with a manufacturing company in University Park that is looking for entry-level to intermediate-level MIG welders on 12-gauge steel. This is a fantastic position with a great training program for recent graduates of welding school that are looking to gain some experience.

Under direction, performs fixturing and MIG welding of steel components to assemble industrial material handling equipment (carts, storage units, etc.). Operating fabrication machinery and using hand and power tools. Simple parts fabrication to production specifications using a shear, punch-press, cold saw, drill-press, grinder, notcher, ironworker press, and simple hand-tools.

Previous experience in welding required OR education in welding will be accepted in lieu of experience.

Multiple shifts available:

1st Shift: M-F 6:30am – 3:00pm ($19/hour)

2nd Shift: M-F 3:15pm – 11:45pm ($20/hour)

3rd Shift: M-F 10:30pm – 6:30am ($20/hour)
