Qualifications

• 5 years experience as a welder with progressive responsibilities.
• Certification in MIG and structural welding preferred.
• Ability to stand, walk and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding and metal fabrication on various projects.
• Read blueprints and set up welding equipment.
• Maintain safety practices and wear required PPE.

Welders - 2nd Shift ark

Primary Job Duties:

Perform welding and metal fabrication on a variety of welding projects and stick and wire techniques

Read blueprints and schematics to determine needed configurations for weldments/assemblies

Set up, adjust and maintain all welding equipment

Perform metal cutting using plasma, oxy-acetylene or grinders

Work in a safe manner wearing all required PPE

Maintain 6s

Be a problem solver

Operate forklift

Completes other duties as assigned

$25-30 hr DOE
