Job summary

Donaldson Company is seeking a Team Member (Welder) in Nicholasville, KY to fabricate Mobile Solutions Air Filtration systems in a collaborative, innovative environment. First shift, onsite, hours 5 a.m. to 3 p.m., with potential overtime on Friday/Saturday.

You will read blueprints, cut, fit, weld and detail assemblies from sheet and structural steel, and operate different welders. Ensure quality, complete records, and follow safety policies.

Qualifications

• Must have welding experience and/or welding certifications.
• Read blueprints and understand written/verbal instructions.
• Fit/tack weldment assemblies to spec.
• Operate industrial forklifts and overhead cranes.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

The Team Member (Welder) at our Nicholasville, KY location involves working collaboratively to fabricate Mobile Solutions Air Filtration systems in an innovative team orientated environment.

This is a1st shift onsite role, with hours Monday - Thursday 5 a.m. to 3 p.m. with overtime possible 5 a.m. to 1 p.m. on a Friday or Saturday.

Role Responsibilities

• Work safely and observe all EHS rules
• To fit, weld together and detail equipment assemblies out of sheet steel and structural steel
• Set up and operate different types of welders
• Read blueprints and understand written and verbal instructions
• Use mechanical ability, work instructions and hand tools to complete daily tasks
• Complete quality checks and fill out appropriate paperwork for record
• Material Handling and Transportation of Product
• Complies with all DOT, HAZMAT and environmental policies and procedures
• Comply with all Health and Safety policies and procedures
• Use all designated Personal Protective Equipment as required

Minimum Qualifications

• To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to demonstrate ability

• High School Diploma, GED, previous experience
