Job description

Welder/Fabricator (2nd Shift)

Pay: $17 and up based on weld test

Shift: 2nd Shift

Description:

  • We are seeking a Welder/Fabricator for our team to fabricate quality parts, while fulfilling our customers’ needs and meeting their product specifications in a timely manner.

An Ideal Candidate will have:

  • 1 year or more of both Mig and Tig Welding experience
  • Ability to utilize measuring and power tools
  • Knowledge and proven work experience in Manufacturing environment
  • Ability to perform both Mig & Tig Welding applications proficiently
  • Thorough knowledge of Reading and understanding blueprints and weld symbols
  • Ability to stand for more than 4 hours at a time, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and ability to work in a non-climate controlled environment

Job Duties:

  • Performing both Mig & Tig Welding applications daily
  • Reading and understanding blueprints and weld symbols
  • Welding Light Gauge Steel, Aluminum and working with Fixturing
  • Ensuring safety and quality guidelines are met
  • Notify supervision of faulty equipment and/or defective materials
  • Determine and perform routine maintenance on equipment used
  • De-bur and grind metal as necessary for proper surface texture
  • Perform other duties as assigned
