Beard Equipment in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Welder/Fabricator to repair, modify and fabricate components for John Deere construction, forestry, and industrial equipment in a service shop.

You will weld heavy equipment, fabricate parts from drawings, inspect work for quality, and maintain a safe, organized work environment while documenting repairs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience welding and fabricating heavy equipment, industrial machinery, or structural steel preferred.
• Strong welding, metal fabrication, and blueprint-reading skills.
• Ability to safely operate welding and fabrication equipment.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to lift, climb, bend, and work in shop and outdoor environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding repairs on heavy equipment, attachments, and structural components.
• Fabricate metal parts and assemblies from drawings, measurements, and specifications.
• Operate welding, cutting, grinding, and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently.
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality, accuracy, and structural integrity.
• Complete work orders and repair documentation accurately.

Position Summary
