  • Minimum 3 years MIG/TIG welding experience.
  • Ability to prioritize and assign work to other welders.
  • Experience driving process and personnel improvements.
  • Able to obtain TIG certifications (D1.2, D1.6) within two months.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems and Epicor software.
  • Welding in various positions and reading prints.

Responsibilities

  • Set up MIG/TIG welds in multiple positions.
  • Load and unload a robotic welder and program adjustments.
  • Read and interpret part drawings and prints.
  • Operate Epicor ERP and document inspections.
  • Inspect weld quality and ensure compliance with standards.
  • Maintain 5S, safety and continuous improvement.
  • Program and perform robot preventative maintenance.

Job Summary:This position is accountable for performing welding set up, operations and activities. It also must ensure that it demonstrates all core competencies required throughout the organization. These competencies include safety, quality, production, and behavior.

  • Ability to MIG or TIG weld, flat and horizontal position
  • Ability to load and unload a robotic welder.
  • Read and understand part drawing and engineering prints.
  • Use current Manufacturing software accurately (Epicor)
  • Inspect parts as directed by the job inspection level.
