Position Overview

The position involves routine duties operating equipment to move, weld, and apply certification stamps to pipes. Candidates should have knowledge of welding processes and industry standards.

Responsibilities

1. Manually move pipe in and out of weld machinery.
2. Operate weld and plasma machines to weld outlets on pipes.
3. Use handheld weld guns for rewelding as specified.
4. Apply certification stamps to weld areas with metal stamps and hammers.
5. Move pipes along tables to load onto carts for transfer.
6. Push carts of pipes to load areas.
7. Operate pneumatic banders for pipe bundle shipment preparation.
8. Complete safety and operational training demonstrating competence.
9. Follow company policies and SOPs.
10. Perform additional tasks as needed by supervisors.

Requirements

1. 1-2 years of experience in a production environment under time constraints.
2. Welding experience with potential for certification.
3. Basic arithmetic skills, including reading tape measures in 1/4" increments.
