Job summary

Sabre Industries, Inc. is seeking a Welder Trainee to join our production team in Ohio. You will learn welding procedures, read blueprints, and perform GMAW welding on small components under supervision.

The role requires basic math, reading/writing, and a willingness to pass a GMAW 2G qualification test. On-the-job training and safety onboarding are provided, with opportunities for advancement as you gain experience.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills required and must read/write.
• Ability to read blueprints is required.
• GMAW or Metal Core Welding experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs welding tasks according to codes, procedures, drawings and WPS.
• Participates in Welder Training Program and 2F Evaluation.
• Maintains safety guidelines and uses PPE on site.
• Reads weld symbols and inspects welds for compliance.
• Assists with setup and operation of welding equipment.
