Now Hiring: 6G TIG GTAW Pipe Welders (Full-Time, No Per Diem)
Location: Norco, Louisiana | Compensation: $30.00 – $32.00/hour | Hours: 40–60 per week
Unite Contracting is seeking experienced and highly skilled 6G TIG GTAW Pipe Welders to join our team in a full-time, permanent position in Norco, Louisiana. This is an opportunity to play a critical role in a growing company dedicated to excellence in fabrication and assembly.
Please note that this position does not offer a per diem allowance. All candidates must complete a 6G TIG GTAW Pipe Weld Test and a Fluxcore Plate Weld Test 3G & 4G, as well as pass a drug screening and background check.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality TIG and Fluxcore welding on pipes and plates.
Fabricate and assemble metal components to precise specifications.
Install, maintain, and repair a variety of mechanical systems and equipment.
Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
Calculate and verify material dimensions and tolerances.
Conduct inspections and tests to ensure weld integrity and compliance.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years’ experience with TIG and Fluxcore welding on 6G pipe
Proven ability to pass a 6G TIG and Fluxcore 3G & 4G welding test
Strong familiarity with welding equipment, techniques, and safety procedures
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
Capable of lifting, bending, and performing physically demanding tasks
Position Summary:
As a Pipe Welder at Unite Contracting, you will be responsible for executing critical welding tasks in alignment with project specifications and safety standards. Reporting to the Lead Welder, your technical expertise and craftsmanship will directly contribute to the success of our operations in the construction and manufacturing sectors.
