A leading energy provider in Arizona seeks a Welder to perform welding activities supporting the maintenance of systems at PVNGS. Candidates are required to have a high school diploma and three years of welding experience, complying with safety and performance standards. This role involves fitting, welding, and conducting training while ensuring adherence to nuclear and export control laws.

To perform welding activities in support of maintaining systems, components, and structural facilities of PVNGS to ensure unit reliability.
Any PVNGS employee may be called upon to serve as a member of the Emergency Response Organization (ERO) and will be expected to fulfill their obligation as an ERO member. This is a condition of employment at PVNGS. Roles and Responsibilities are defined in Policy 1503 and implementing policy guide are applicable to all PVNGS employees. Any PVNGS employee may be called upon to support a refueling or short-notice outage, including line roles and responsibilities as necessary to execute outage activities.

A computer-based skills test, a hands-on skills test, and a physical ability test will be administered. E-mail will be used for test scheduling and updates.
This position requires work to be performed in the field and/or at the work site. PVGS employees may be called upon for random Fitness For Duty Testing during scheduled hours.
