Job Title: Welder (Production)

Position open at The Royal Group (TRG) in Sidney, Ohio. The Production Welder is responsible for assembling metal pieces and repairing damage using heavy machinery that emits high heat. Duties include reviewing blueprints for specifications, performing spot and finish welding, and other related tasks.

Essential Job Functions:

• Read and interpret blueprints/drawings.
• Follow safety, quality, and plant rules and regulations.
• Perform wire feed MIG welding.
• Grinding and assembly as needed.
• Contribute to team efforts and maintain positive relationships.
• Comply with company policies and applicable laws.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Education / Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Vocational/technical certification preferred.
• Fabricating experience preferred.

Required Skills and Abilities:

• Welding skills.
• Ability to read blueprints/drawings.
• Ability to learn and follow instructions.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to read a tape measure accurately.
• Basic high school math skills.
• Problem-solving skills.
• Painting and forklift operation preferred but not required.
