Position Summary

TheWelders/Pipe Fitters will be responsible for welding and fitting CARBON STEELAND STAINLESS-STEEL pipes to specifications, examining work product fordefects, and ensuring conformance with specifications.

Essential Functions

Fit and Weld carbon steel and stainless-steel pipesfor plumbing/mechanical applications.

Desired QualificationRequirements

• MUSTBE A U.S. CITIZEN.
• 5+years of experience in welding carbon steel and stainless-steel pipe
• Knowledgeof plumbing, pipefitting, and welding techniques
• Excellentmechanical aptitude and manual dexterity with attention to detail
• High school diplomaor equivalent. Vocational training or certification in pipe welding
• Must be able topass a thorough background check.
• Working knowledgeof SMAW, FCAW, Stick (6010/7018) welding
• Working knowledgeof gas cutting techniques for piping (Automatic & Manually)
• Excellent knowledgeof Fitting configurations adhering to ASME B31.1 Piping
• Preferred knowledgeof examination, testing, inspection, operation, and maintenance of pipingsystems found in industrial, institutional, and general heating andcooling systems.
• Strong attention todetail, accuracy, and problem-solving skills.
• Communication:Effective English or Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) verbal and writtencommunication skills are a must have
• Teamwork: Abilityto work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, subcontractors, andproject stakeholders to achieve quality objectives and project success.
• Safety: Commitmentto adhering to safety protocols, procedures, and regulations to ensure asafe working environment for oneself and others.

Physical Requirements

You must be able to lift a dead weight of at least50poundsand stand on your feet for several hours at a time. You must also be able to bend, stretch, crouch and lift as required by the job,be able to respond quickly tosounds, see and respond to dangerous situations, and properly wear personalprotective gear.
