Job Description

We are seeking full-time Structural Steel Welders and Fitters to join our 1st Shift. Responsibilities include:

• Perform welding operations using MIG, TIG, and Stick welding processes
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications accurately
• Set up welding equipment and maintain proper safety protocols
• Inspect materials, structures, and products to ensure quality standards are met
• Measure and cut materials according to specifications
• Maintain welding equipment and work area
• Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate protective equipment

Qualifications

We would like to hear from you if you have the following:

• Able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Safety conscious
• Good attendance
• Able to work overtime
• Knowledge of drawing language and symbols (for Fitter position)
• Able to use steel hand working tools
• Previous welding experience preferred
• Pass a welder's certification test
• Ability to safely operate overhead cranes
• Knowledge of minor welding machine maintenance is helpful
• Knowledge of oxy/acetylene torches and measuring devices, i.e. tapes, squares, and levels
